I have a BS degree and a BSN, which I received after completing an accelerated program. I had a massive lag between one BS and the RN school.
1. For nursing school, I repeated no classes. I retook general chemistry because I thought I wanted to go to pharmacy school and my prior credits were too old (from 1991-1992), and then I took O-chem for the same reason. The school accepted my general statistics class, which surprised me because the credits were earned in 1992; this could've been because I'd completed gen chem in the last year with an A. The community college I was taking my prereqs for (I appealed the faculty to take chem without taking college algebra - I'd taken calculus even though it was in 1991) let me take micro without retaking general biology.
2. I took no remedials or pre-preps.
3. Nursing school was 16 months, but I was working full time when I took pre-reqs (needed A&P, Micro only) but I had that pharmacy school detour as well. So that took a year and a half total. I have a BSN.
Let me interject here and say an "Accelerated" BSN, in many cases, is a bit of misnomer. "Traditional" BSNs have a 24 month period, generally, where the nursing core is taken. However, courses are from August-May and then a repeat of August-May, with summers off (unless you get the shaft in registration and you're stuck in summer sessions). I went from August to December of the following year, 16 months straight. The length of nursing core study is about the same. Even a 12 month program is only shorter by a few months. I think a lot of people get hung up on the 'accelerated'. Our program had more clinical hours (1100) than the 'traditional' four year program across town.
4. I sort of answered this question already. You have to take the prereqs in a certain order, so I sort of had to wait on that. AND I was working 40 hours a week and volunteering at the local university hospital 5 to 8 hours a week. I would say straight-up nursing prereqs took me a year - BUT I already had a BS degree, so that meant a lot of stuff didn't need to be taken.

-I had to retake 2 classes. One was a pre-rec english class, for a family illness I was unable to complete a large project thus had to withdraw and retake. Then the other was Nursing Research, part of my nursing courses.
-I did not take any remedial courses or preps
-It took me 4 years straight through, I earned a BSN
-It took me 3 semesters to earn my pre-reqs. I also earned a minor in Psych, I took some classes over the summer.

1. I had to retake both A+P I and Organic chemistry. I thought it was the end of the world and I figured I'd never make it through the actual nursing courses. Turns out I was acutally pretty good at nursing exams. I even passed MedSurg II and Psych while dealing with a major depressive episode (ironic I know). It was one of the darkest times of my life and I somehow pulled through. It's all about perseverance, so don't worry if you have to retake classes.
2. I did not take any remedial or pre-prep classes.
3. It took me four years total to finish, including two summers. I just received my BSN last month.
4. It took me about two years to do all my pre-reqs, including one summer.
Good Luck! You can do it :)

How long did it take for your to finish your pre-reqs? N/A- I did a traditional BSN program where I entered college directly out of high school. Everything was built into the curriculum.

I only re-took A&P I. I was a brand-spankin' new college student, fresh outta high school, and had no idea what I was getting myself into taking 16 credit hours my first semester. I retook it the next semester and passed no problem! Just needed to get my study habits together :)

I received my bachelors degree in 4 years. Started August 2009 and graduated May 2013.
My program incorporates our pre-reqs throughout the entire program. You take Nursing classes with the pre-reqs every semester.

Nope.
I entered a Direct-Entry MSN program. Completed the pre-licensure portion (equivalent to an accelerated BSN) in 18 months, full-time. Doing the MSN portion part-time, which will take another 2.5 years at my pace.
2 years. My previous bachelor's degree was non science, so I had to take all the science pre-reqs. And I was working full time then, and only taking 1 class in Fall and Spring and 2 classes during the Summer semester. I worked for a university at the time in which I got tuition remission for up to 6 credits a semester, which was nice considering the loans I took out once I got into nursing school!
