How many accepted in your future program?

I just found out yesterday that they only accept 60 into the nursing program at the school i am taking pre-reqs at. It is completely GPA based. Currently I have a 4.0 for the sememster, but the fact that they only take 60 kinda scares me. I have been told that they will only look at my current GPA because I am taking a full course load, and not my GPA from 10 yrs ago which includes 2 incompletes. I am still freaking out a bit. I will continue to try to keep the 4.0, but it is only 1/4 of the way over.

How many will be accepted into the program you are applying for?

They're taking 110 applicants per semester. It is completely point-based, which isn't bad, but my GPA years ago is pulling down my overall GPA dramatically and I'm afraid I won't be one of those 110 chosen for Fall 09. Still, I hope for the best. *crossing fingers*

I'm currently going to a community college that accepts only 30 twice a year. I'm applying to a few BSN programs though, and I know those are a lot more.

Hi there! My program accepts 140 students once a year- fall semester only! Good luck to all!

I applied to the spring program at my school and they only accept 40 students. I have no idea how many applicants there were. Good luck!

My community college accepts 30 each semester to begin the program. It is a points system based on GPA and the NLN (or ACT). Only about 1/2 of those accepted make it through the program.

I was told between 35-50 depending upon qualifications.

50 at my school's B.S.N. program...they cut down from 70 students. And out of those 50 admitted, a couple drop out as well. They base it on a point system that evaluates Cumm GPA, Science GPA, NET Exam(max of 5 points for each english and math portions), extra points if your'e started out in the school as a freshman, and an essay.

1st community college 56 Fall and 56 Spring (the school Im currently attending), and its Based on a GPA and TEAS test.

2nd community college 56 Fall students based on GPA and the NET

Tecnical college (LpN), 62 based on the NET test:nurse:

24 on january, may, and september!
