How long???

Our application deadline was August 15th, I got my acceptance letter on October 14th. Another school I applied to has a deadline of February 15th and they let us know by April 15th. (I already finished applying so I will be waiting for a long time) Here it seems the standard is 2 months from the final application deadline. It is so different everywhere, I wonder what others will say. I know how you feel about waiting....it is intense, let us know how it goes!!

It really varies by school. They just changed the application process at mine. While the deadline is beginning of February, they then (at some point) go through apps and select people for interviews. Then you go through that whole process and some time further they make their final picks. My guess is they'll wait until Spring grades are in since they do use GPA and courses completed in their formula for determining. I can see me not finding out until July for an August program start date.

Our deadline was end of September and we should here something by the end of this month up to mid November. Yes, the wait is terrible!

Thanks, everyone. I think the deadline is January 31st for my school but they strongly urge you to get your apps in as soon as possible. I don't think I can wait until Feb. to know though...not much of a choice though...

i just completed application today.for my school the waiting is almost one and half month. so i have to wait until dec 15. i swear this wait is killing me.

My application deadline was sept 15 and I Know one of my class mates got her letter last friday. I don't know anything yet!!!! at least I don't have a NO but I think at this point I just want to know whatever is the answer. It is really really tough not to think on the letter and check the mail every day. I really admire the ones that can forget about it. Good luck!!!

I submitted my application in Jan '06 and received my acceptance letter in June '06. Unfortunately that acceptance letter is for starting Spring '07. :rolleyes: so I guess I'm still waiting.

Hi,

I applied to 10 schools and most of the schools' datelines are around end of Sept or beginning of Oct. I already received 2 reponses so far (I got into one of them), and I am very sure that the rest will be coming in the beginning of November. So...wish me luck!

Well initally it took ONE MONTH from the time I turned in application until the time I got my acceptance letter. Then I deferred so I could get my financial aid together. Well they told me just because I deferred DID NOT GUARENTEE my acceptance for the following semester. Ggggggeeezzzzz.... I did not know that... SO.. I had to apply ALL OVER AGAIN. The second time it took a few months. Yup. Months. And I already felt like I was "in" so the waiting was terrible. YIKES! I just found out today that I got in. Whoa! Thank goodness!

The waiting is AWFUL. I know what you are feeling. Hang in there... sometimes and that is a sometimes.. they will tell you over the phone.

Thanks. I'm glad you got in again! I got a letter saying I needed to take a TEAS test as part of the application process. I'm scheduled for November 18th....stay tuned.
