I just started my LPN/RN program in August. I won't mention the name of the school just yet, but it's atrocious!!
It is advertised as a two-year ADN program which is why I am going there, but since the first day, they haven't stopped STRONGLY discouraging us from continuing to year 2 as RNs. They expect a straight A average, faculty & healthcare references and clinical expertise right off the bat. They take tuition money and keep trying to eliminate as many people as possible.
It is a disgrace. Is anyone else experiencing this??
Anyway, after my recent clinical--I received the notice that I'm not "transferring my eduction to the clinical environment." Does anyone have any advice on how to let instructors know you understand the material! Meanwhile, of course, the clinical evals are not being judged fairly--(of course, right). Some people are being praised and barely reviewed while others are being picked apart to death. How do you cope when you feel your school should be sued:eek:??
