How to send by name to nursing boards for taking NCLEX. I'm at the end of my ASN program surviving all hurdles. From what I've heard, the exit exam of this college is super tough, almost impossible. Only two people passed at first attempt on last exam out of 20+ students.
So what I am asking is about my plan B if in case I could't make their exit exam, then I need a way some how to sit for NCLEX. Either way, I will be doing a Kaplan exam before doing my NCLEX.....
All I need to know..is there a way to get to do NCLEX for me if I fail their exit....any state is fine....it doesn't really matter which board.
Thank you

Your school will have to send their records to the state showing that you have completed their program and have graduated from it. This means you'll have to jump through their hurdles to reach that point. You may be able to find a way to get licensed by virtue of having an "equivalent" education by completing all the required courses, but that particular gamble requires your state have a license path allowing this... and that they'll allow you to earn a license without actually formally completing a nursing program and getting a degree.
You stated only 2 of 20 from a previous class passed the first time. What's the breakdown of students from that previous class that do not yet have a license/have taken the NCLEX? That's a more "real" thing for you to assess. If you fail the exit exam the first time around, that implies that there's subsequent tries at it. This would also mean that you'll have seen the basic exit exam and while the questions will be different, the content won't be and you'll know where you need improvement before you attempt the exam the second time.

At my school, they would not send your paperwork to the state until you passed the exit exam. Even if you do find a state that lets you sit for the NCLEX, they would still need the paperwork from your school.
