It was my second attempt and I found that it was harder than the one I took last october. I studied lots for this one, but it's just the way the questions are, I'm just not good at psycho-social multiple choice questions.
Also, some things that you all probably feel the same way about but we can't do anything about are:
The length of the exam is just wayyyy too long! I had full rest and somehow I managed to get drowsy...I couldn't help it. I hate the questions. I don't feel that the exam fully tests nursing knowledge. I've seen those who have failed but are great in the clinical setting. I've seen those who've passed but I would never want them to be my nurse.
Anyway I hope everyone else did great!! And I hope that I passed. How embarrassing it would be if I had to tell my employer and colleagues that I've failed yet again....i hope that doesn't have to happen.
Hi EFAN,
You have done your best! Wish you good luck and Passed!!!
How about Short answer questions? Difficult? Which area need to study more?
thanks! Have a great day!

It was alright. It did test some nursing knowledge but there were some absolutely wacky questions on that perhaps less than one percent of the candidates must have gotten (one short answer one comes quickly to mind).
It was one of those exams that you can't determine whether you passed or not. And holy moly it was long. I only took 2.5 hours for each section but by the end of Books 3/4 I was ready to nap.

Thanx =D
I hope I pass as well....I don't want to go through that again....after the exam I just lost my capacity to think haha.
the short answers weren't so bad....but there were some crazy questions.

I agree, pretty long. It definately covered some topics that I wasn't too prepared for and a couple of the short answer questions were right out in left field...I'm sure wonderstars and I are thinking of the same question...who would have thought that would be tested?
All in all, I've written worse exam (first year calculus...shudder) and there is nothing I can do now but wait it out.

The exam was ok, but so hard to know whether or not you passed. I studied, but honestly, how can you study for some of that stuff. Its just so random. I think I'm thinking of the same short-answer question as the two posters above me, and I think even if I had spent every waking hour studying for six months I never would have even thought to study that.
Oh well, I guess its just a wait & see type of deal. Best of luck to everyone, and lets hope those marking the exams are in a good frame-of-mind.

I think February exam was harder then in June. I hope the result will be better now. Multiple choice questions were ease and short answer questions were more complicated, but I spent less time for 1 and 3 books, and had enough time for complite 2 and 4 books. I answered all questions.
Good luck to everybody!!!:monkeydance:

I found that there were times when I thought that I was doing well and then other times I felt it was awful. I studied a lot for it. I guess if I look over some information from WHO then maybe I wouldn't feel so bad about the short answer. Oh well. I guess I will wait in August.
