Holy Name Nursing Program

Hello I did applied but didn't get in.They required 60% on TEAS and I had 64%, but still...I saw reviews on Google that it's a good program.They not cheap $32000.They said schedule will be 3-4 times a week.For usually 2 days classes and 1 day clinicals.Classes starts at 8 or 8.30 but clinicals at 7.

I got an 86 on the TEAS.  I personally think that its a good program. It is definitely challenging due to COVID. We have lecture online and our clinicals are currently paused for the next few weeks due to the hospital being pretty crazy again. You don't need all the prerequisites prior to the program because you can take them concurrently. Of course it would be beneficial to not have to take them at the same time as nursing courses, but if you have to take some they are available at the college they're associated with. You start clinicals in the hospital in October, which I think is pretty great because you get experience right away. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I was under the impression that in order to gain direct entry into the program all of the prerequisites have to be completed prior to start? So for ex, I'm thinking of applying for the Summer 2021 cohort. The only classes I'm missing are for the foreign language, religious, and ISAC requirements. I don't know if having these in progress would lower my chances of getting in? Also my cc is not offering the linguistics course I was going to take to satisfy the foreign language requirement, so I wouldn't have that completed either. **I've tried reaching out to counselors because theres not much info on the website.. but they are not that helpful. I'm overall pretty confused about the application process and their program in general and they hold no information sessions. So I'm kind of at a loss of how to proceed.

I am thinking of applying for the lpn-RN pathway at Holyname medical center school of nursing. JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE CURRENTLY ATTENDING THE PROGRAM WOULD RECCOMMNEND IT? Also, is it very hard to get in ?

Hello, is there any advice you can recommend to pass the TEAS? I always fail it.

AI would definitely buy the ATI TEAS study manual if you haven't bought already. Download the app on your phone and take the tests on there. I would also consider any other products on TEAS like for example if you're not good in A&P, purchase the A&P practice test and or any other package to help boost any weak areas. I purchased the A&P package.

I was told them same by my Enrollment Counselor. She did say we could be in progress with classes while applying. I was accepted into what they call the Pre-Nursing Major which is all the General ED and Sciences Required to apply for the program. I am now meeting with the Advising Counselor tomorrow and attending HAWK day on July 31st.

I haven't had any issues reaching anyone. The best thing to do is just go apply to become a student. You will get plenty communication after that. I text and talk to my enrollment counselor all the time. Talking to her now matter of fact with some questions I had.  They are helpful to me and I am ready to start in August. I am looking forward to class. Right now most are online or hybrid.

Could any of you give advice to someone who is applying soon? What were your stats? 

Prepare yourself for TEAS.They told me that it is only thing important to get in.They don't care ab your GPA and your prereqs 

Interesting....what is the TEAS like? Is it a big combo of English, anatomy, physiology, math, etc? 

English 2 parts: grammar and reading, math, and science. Look up on Google for TEAS.There is so much information ab this exam.Also register on facebook group for TEAS
