That was the great cartoonist, Robert Crumb, No Stars. His art, although not his subjects as they were underground comics which primarily focused on sex & drugs, was an inspiration to me. Thank you for your interest and continued support!

No, I did not know of them, abbnurse, and had to do a search to learn about The Fabulous Freak Brothers. It seems that their creator, Gilbert Shelton, was a contemporary of R. Crumb. Thank you for your involvement, support, and becoming a member of Ars Gratia Artis, abbnurse!
Mar 22, 20233 yr I'll have to look up The Furry Freak Brothers, because the name only rings a tiny little bell in the back of my brain.... Yeah, I recognize the cartoon ... specifically the hair-do's... but I don't remember reading them. PS: Welcome aboard, abbnurse! The more the merrier!
Mar 22, 20233 yr Davey, I am hesitant about telling you this, but Shakira has a song named "Hips Don't Lie". I looked it up and after I read the lyrics, I said, "Hmmm." Of course the video is a bit more than suggestive than this thread is. The one line in there that I found funny is, "You make a man feel like speaking Spanish..." (?--AY-YI-YI--?) But, personally I'd just as soon ignore Shakira's song's lyrics and continue with clever and creative ideas, not the obvious ones.
