What's wrong with being honest?

As long as your favorite activity is not an unintelligent activity such as smoking crack, gambling or boozing or what have you....:lol2:

Just be honest. You really can't lie about your skills anyway. But if you speak a second language or have previous volunteer experience, put that down. As for hobbies/interests, just put whatever it is that you enjoy.

I told them I enjoy scrapbooking, reading, and learning about history - all of which is true. I figured they might look at those as good for craft projects on the peds floor, reading to elderly or blind patients, and going to visit elderly patients who have no one to talk to (older folks always love to talk about the good old days, don't they?). I've ended up on the Peds floor, which is great for me!

They just want to find out what kind of person you might be - and they might be looking for people to help with certain projects or groups of patients.

I like learning about history as well, I just don't like being tested over it! :lol2: 7 more days HISTORY II is over! :balloons:

As for the OP, I'm in agreeance with everyone else, just be honest. I wish I could do volunteer work at a hospital right now. :( I should go get a job for the summer, not work for free. :uhoh21:

Good luck to you!!!

I agree, just be honest. I told them my hobby, karate. Been doing it 16 years where I met my fiance 16 years ago. I also used to teach so it went on my previous jog list too. No hobby or talent is wrong or stupid. Whatever floats your boat, right? Good luck, sweetie. I'm sure you'll do fine.
