HH Software Critique

Our agency uses Clinipro. Not sure how you would go about getting it. We have been using it for about 3 years and seem to have gotten most of the bugs worked out.

We are getting new software soon as ours is horrible as well.

Am new user to board. Need advice from HH Software users. Have a system that is not working & and need to purchase another application ASAP that functions well. Have not been able to bill since 11-03!! I have seen many of your entries describing months of working out bugs, etc. Would appreciate any comments regarding your software before we purchase a product. Cannot always believe what the marketing people tell us about their product:stone !!

we use clindoc through 3m-and interfaces with billing. always some little cliches but for the most part the nurses like it.

Depending on how many new admits you do per month you may consider out sourcing your billing. If you do that then you can use the HAVEN Data Entry Software provided by CMS for free for transmission of OASIS data.

I have used Healthcare Assitant by Synergy for about 4-6 months and I really like the interface.

It can submit your OASIS, perform billing functions, print 485, and much more. Synergy has on staff billers that can actually bill for you (or answer questions) if you need help or fill in due to one of your billers being sick, vacation, etc.

Whatever software you decide to use, be sure to demo it and find out all the fees.
