Hi everyone struggling to pass the hessi, we are only getting one last chance at our school to pass this difficult test. Any advice will be really appreciated on how to study for it. Thanks:crying2:

The HESI is really not that difficult. Study basic math, vocabulary, reading skills, biology and chemistry and search these threads for a better breakdown of what it includes. You can do it!

"Really not that difficult"? I guess that explains why ~70% of my accelerated BSN cohort failed HESI on their first attempt. Our HESI test was taken during our last week of finals, which made it even more enjoyable.
I believe there may also be different types of HESI exams - for pre-admission testing, versus for pre-NCLEX testing at the end of your nursing program.
There are HESI specific study books available - some people used those, while others used Saunders NCLEX study book/CD.

I think your talking about the HESI admission test. The nursing HESI exams don't have any math, reading, and bio on it. You must be new to nursing school

I use the College Network for NCLEX success to prepare for the HESI. It contains practice questions and the rationals. Graduates from my school informed me that there are actual HESI questions on the college network. I believe your institution has to have a subscription for the program. The address is www.qrb4nclexsuccess.com. Hope that helps. Good Luck!!!
