All of the "incredibly easy" books are really good. I used them through nursing and school and am still going back to them time to time now as a practicing RN. Really like the Fluids and Electrolytes as well as the Critical Care Nursing book. There was a really good article this month in Nursing 2007 as well. It is tough material to wrap your brain around but so important. Just keep at it and it will come together.

Real World Nursing Survival Guide Series

Book Title is Hemodynamic Monitoring

publisher is elsevier saunders

ISBN 13: 978-0-7216-0375-9

or

ISBN 10: 0-7216-0375-0

Its a good book and very similar to the made easy series. You can probably find more info on it at www.elsevierhealth.com.

Good luck

thanks guys!

I agree with the Made Incredible Easy recommendation. They actually have two books out. One is Cardiovascular Nursing Made Incredibly Visual. The other is Cardiovascular Nursing Made Incredibly Easy. I constantly refer back to these, especially when i precept.

Try PACEP.org

it is a website for pulmonary artery catheter education project. Some of the info is over a nurses head, but some good info there
