Right now i have just been asked to take over as Nursing Supervisor for my district. Our dear former nursing supervisor died last night!:cry: i was called into the superintendent's office and was briefed about her passing then he told me since i'm senior RN he is giving me the job!

How can i just pick up were she left off and run a dept? i'm so nervous right now!! any good advice?

This year i don't know it seems like everything bad that can happen is happing to me!!

Um, YOU didn't die. How are bad things happening to you? Sounds as if you just got promoted!

So true!!! A marathon is accomplished by taking one step at a time - not one giant 26.2 mile step.

I'm out of shock now, and i really love my new job i think management is for me!!!!
