Help w/ finding a good school

Okay, so I wanna be a RN, and i know to be a RN you should take LVN first to get started...

Im in need of help w/ finding a lvn school... money is kinda of problem.. I really dont wanna spend up to 25-28,000 bucks jus to go to a LVN school... I live in LA does anyone know any schools out there that are not so expensive.. and i dont want to go to a Community College, bc my sister did that and it took her 6 years... from taking pre reqs then waiting for the RN program, then 4yrs for the actuall program... Pls pls HELP!!! :(

the best route is community college. Take the pre-reqs and skip the LVN. You can go straight to RN. If you try to work as an LVN whilst going to RN school, the chances for success fade rapidily. Note I did not say impossible......

yeah take the community college route, ADN-RN. but if your heart is set into becoming an LVN first, then there is a private school in torrance, ca called homestead college. i believe that the ongoing price is less than 20,000. search your yellow pages and do ask for doris aguilar at homestead college in torrance, ca. however, i still believe that ADN-RN is the better route, and much cheaper.
