Well because in LA RN schools are picked outta lottery.. outta luck.. my friend has been waiting 7 months and she hasnt been picked yet.. If im still waiting to be a RN i would think at least i have a LVN on me and find a job ??? if that makes any sense??

Are online courses legit?? I heard some are fake? and its not real diploma/certficate ect.. jobs dont accept them.. I mean, what do you guys think should i bother doing lvn to get to being a rn? since WCU is outta the question right? too expensive? lol.. i live in LA right now.. i know its hard to look for a job, but i wanna get to being a RN..

So I was here a couple months ago, I said I wanted to go to WestCoast for BSN and everyone said its too expensive and waste of money.. And i thought to myself.. that is RIGHT! 132,000+ is alot of money! -- so ehres my solution and i need your FEEDBACK!! I'm thinking of going to LVN school first either Marian College in LA or Perferred College in LA they are right next to eachother if anyone has heard of em.. it cost 23/24,000 -- either or American Career too. All cost the same.. I really wanna be a RN so after wards I'll go back school for RN at a community college or something i heard the programs are 2 years but they'll be doing BSN now? I don't know if thats a waste of MORE money?? Which is better? WCU straight RN or LVN first then RN??? Pls help... Thank You so much guys!!!:D

Oh, well see I don't have any pre reqs don't sadly. Yet again. WCU allows students without it having don't, and during the course they jus teach/give you the pre reqs needed.

Yeah, for sure I know its alot of money SADLY! I heard it is 8,000 per semester or something like that. My heart says do BSN/RN. But WILL I AFFORD it in the long run??? Jus thinking of my future.. I don't know what else to think of when it comes to a career. I'm still young, im 22.. But i wanna jump start my career now.. Boohoo!

Oh okay. Yeah thats what i want to take at WCU the BSN/RN program. It's every 10 weeks as i've heard. I'd rather do that than having to go to community college and wait thru lottery and see if i got in the RN program.. But.. Thanks! =)

I have a question.. Is BSN like RN? or is it different?

I dont go to this message board alot .. I don't know what to look for i go here to ask questions, not really to browse.. I mean, I understand its alot... So is.. LVN then jumping back to school as a RN.. its the same thing?? So why not going straight to it? Is there some other career that's better than LVN/RN right now? Medical Field wise?? Help?? hello!! so, i'm thinking of attending westcoast university and taking the bsn/rn program in either june or sept.. i was wondering if anyone has gone to this school at all? is the entrance test hard at all? or anything i should be getting ready for? -- i'm not worried about the money. jus want feed back please :)

Okay so i REALLY need some help. im 23 years old. I need help deciding on either to do just LVN (trade school) or should I go straight RN (West Coast University) -- The reason i need help is because i was told it is hard to do RN straight with out any pre reqs or anything BUT it is worth it in the end? -- I would like to do LVN first just because I can learn step by step but the downside about lvn first i heard is that they are not in demand? and it takes a while to do RN after? I need help? what would be a smarter choice for my behalf... I would really like to hear what you guys have to say! Thank you! :D:D

Okay, so I wanna be a RN, and i know to be a RN you should take LVN first to get started... Im in need of help w/ finding a lvn school... money is kinda of problem.. I really dont wanna spend up to 25-28,000 bucks jus to go to a LVN school... I live in LA does anyone know any schools out there that are not so expensive.. and i dont want to go to a Community College, bc my sister did that and it took her 6 years... from taking pre reqs then waiting for the RN program, then 4yrs for the actuall program... Pls pls HELP!!!

i live out here in ca, la.... all job postings i see are 14 hr? is it a good career choice?
