Jan 28, 201610 yr I am kind of confused which reviewers to choose for nclex rn exam any ideas and suggestions:)
Jan 28, 201610 yr You need to do some research on what each program has to offer. If you are content weak then Hurst is a strong content based review. Kaplan is good for test taking skills and NCLEX strategies. UWORLD is great for questions if you just need practice.
Feb 3, 201610 yr I loved Kaplan. The live Review was testing taking strategies. However, I got a Kaplan content review book with my course and if I was missing questions simply because I didn't know the content I went back to their content book. I only used Kaplan and I thought highly of it. I can't speak for any of the other review courses though.
Feb 4, 201610 yr I bought HURST Online review do I have to buy the book too?You shouldn't have to. Everything you need is accessible and printable through your online account, at least it was when I used them.
Feb 4, 201610 yr I used uWorld and passed in 76 questions, not to mention it's relatively inexpensive. It's totally worth it! :)
Feb 11, 201610 yr Author Happy for you yee! but i have a problem memorizing on lab values fluid electro light and acid base balance haw was your studding habit?
Feb 13, 201610 yr If I were you, I'd make flash cards and quiz yourself daily with the values or force yourself to write the list by memory and fill in the rest everyday. The test isn't super number specific, so they provide reasonablely low/ high values in their examples for common values (in metric and the u.s. values). The key is repetition through different media to strengthen those neuronal pathways
Feb 25, 201610 yr Author Huh stressed out is any one has constructive study complement and too much reading Saunders but i have too.
