Neuro based disorder for sure. Nothing for the nurse to do but to support the patient and wait for the diagnostic tests results.

Homework question? We prefer not to do your homework because that would impair your learning process. Not to mention: what if some random non-medical person on here decides to mess with you and give you completely erroneous answers?
I have to say also that asking us to provide sources is a bit above and beyond what most students ask for. Quite frankly, you win today's prize for "it takes a lot of nerve."

Rapid heart rate (pulse) and Shaking hands or tremor: Common Related Medical Conditions
The cause is unknown upon presentation. This patient would be high priority, and the nurse could expect to obtain vitals, an EKG, FBS, labs, line, head CT, chest x-ray, urine. Close monitoring....and in some instances, a rr of 8 would require assisted ventilations.
Don't get too caught up in these questions, as a nurse really needs to keep an open mind and critically think this through to the patient's best interest. In other words, it doesn't matter what the most likely cause is, just that the patient is priority and needs a rapid response type intervention.
