Hi and welcome to the site
I have moved this to the NCLEX forum where I am sure you will find much in the way of support etc.
My tip would be to practise questions and read the rationale
thanks? wat book really help u?
Have a good read on the forum and look at what everyone used. I used Saunders and NCSBN and passed on my third attempt

Can I also seek help from here? I will be taking my test here in PA by November though hubby keeps on begging me to retake it earlier since he hates to wait for another 3 months to sit for the NCLEX again. Should I trust myself to take it by November or October? I feel that I am not ready at all. Self-review is definitely hard for me. This would be my 2nd time sitting for the NCLEX.
planning to take the ati testing review online, can somebody use this before? is it effective? is it worth money?

Used it for study question but no for review online because i count it as waste of money in my own opinion. If you think you're interested, pls do go for it. I've some code, not sure if still working. wish you the best!!
thanks,KATDBT6! i really appreciate ur answer, my frnd in ca used it and she said it was really useful. did you tried it too? this is my 3rd time and i want it to be the last, hoping so bad.... i stocked for two years waiting for my credentials to be evaluated here since im graduated from other country, and i think one reason why i didnt make it twice because i forgot a lot nsg knowlegde, i was just thinking that ati testing is a good refresher lecture like that?
what do you think? i really dont know? i haven't decided yet, coz it is too much money....what code do you have? can i use it too?
somebody else used ati testing?????

Hey, believe in yourself! I am also an international graduate and took BSN for only two years since it's my second course. I admit,at first, I really lack nursing content. What helped me the most was practicing thousand of questions and reading each rationale.. It wasn't easy for me though. However, i always had the perseverance and determination to pass nclex-rn. I enrolled with kaplan complete course, answered saunders q & a cd,la charity and exam cram.I took the questions twice. I also read the kaplan course book twice. I also took 2000+ questions from nclex 3500 & lippincotte. It helped me a lot to be ready for the nclex. content is very important in nclex also the test taking strategies. Goodluck! you can do it. always tell yourself that you can pass just like others.:wink2:

really? wow! u did a lot, i thought my 5000+ q&a was enough,i did that, i still dont know how to do deal with it, still thinking taking ati testing, like 75% gonna get it, or not. thank you a lot! you know i have all the books that you said, but i didnt finished it yet only lippincot and la charity. saunders not done yet.......
i really dont know..............
help please........
You don't need to read the entire saunders book. JPractice questions & understand each rationale in every question you got right and wrong. My sisters who are also RNs here in U.S advised me to practice more questions and understand each rationale. I read kaplan course book because it is easy to understand. It covers the important contents that come out on the nclex. I read few chapters from saunders on selected topics because saunders is complete with content. I made sure i take note when i was reviewing. Because 2 days before my exam i read those notes to refresh my memory. Practice saunders q & a first before kaplan,la charity and exam cram. Because saunders has the easiest questions but full with content in each rationale.
You can do it! there's a lot of advice from other threads too. I'm sure they'll help you as well.
Goodluck!
