Help!

okay, so im applying to work for holy redeemer hospital in meadowbrook, pa, but i dont know what to apply for.

im a cna and there are positions that say "cna- (hosp. t.c.u) and also telemetry.......what do these mean, and which is a good place to start ya think?

ive been certified as a nursing assistant since 2007 now. i have not been hired anywhere. ive applied to every place imaginable and i do call hr to follow up. still no luck. do you think that there's any chance holy redeemer will hire me? [ a not so fresh out of training-inexperienced cna]

I have applied over and over again at Holy Redeemer and couldnt get in. I even know a nurse and cna that work there and couldnt get me in, but I did apply at Frankford- Torresdale Hospital on Knights Road, 19114 and got hired in 2 days after applying. I work on an Ortho/Trauma Unit. It is a Nice hospital and great benefits for full time employees. Sorry to tell you but, they may not be hiring......they plan on laying off 400 people. I dont think it would be immediate caregivers, but who knows. The economy is crap, so Good Luck. Just keep applying until you cant anymore, thats what i did, and im so happy i got out of a nursing home, it was too overwhelming for me.

thanks Amy! i actually did get a call back from them but couldn't work the hours because of college!

but now my schedule is much more flexible! I wish they would give me a call back now. But I did check the website and see that they arent hiring anymore. Yes the economy is crap!!! Hope things look up soon.
