Hi everybody, could you help me? I want to get though RN exam, what can I do, how can I do? I am so poor, I could not buy books for it, I just want to get some informations from internet, I am looking for these, but they are so limited. If you have good advices, I hope you help me. Thanks a lot. You may contact me via private message.

You will unable to do an RN exam in the UK without having some sort of formal nursing training, if you are already qualified overseas then you may be able to register with the nursing and midwifery council if you meet the requirments, if not you need to apply to a nursing course which would be difficult unless you are a UK citizen.

Have to agree with previous post, you need to meet the requirements set down by the NMC if already a foreign nurse. If looking at doing your nurse training then it will be very costly as you will be classed as an international student and as far as I am aware currently doing UK training will not give you a work permit and allow you to stay in the UK once qualified. Even if you meet UK requirements with the NMC it is very hard to get a work permit if from outside the EU

Are you a qualified nurse in China already or what? And is it to the UK you want to come or to the US you want to go?

YES, I am a qualified nurse in China, I want to go to the US or UK. I do not know how to do, you know there are some agencies which help you to go to the US or the UK in China, but the fees is so expensive, I can not affort it. I know being a UK or US nurse need nurse training and some classes, I need some free informations online to get familer to it. For example my English and especially medical English .

The UK is not even an option right now. You will not be able to get a visa to work there. Even those from the US are having issues getting licensed there right now.

My next suggestion would be to focus on your English before anything else. Your English skills are going to have to be excellent to work in an English speaking country, you will be required to pass exams in reading, writing, as well as speaking before you will be able to work there.
