So, i hope someone can answer and give me clarification. Im getting paranoid because I just got a CNA job interview and the employer said since my NAC is pending, she can hire me as a NA at first. Under my NAR im assuming. But my NAR has expired a couple weeks ago, will i still get hired? I didnt even have my NAR for a full year yet but it still expired on my birthday. Do i need my NAR renewed in order to get hired? I've been trying to get a job as a CNA while 17 which was hard and like a struggle. I honestly dont see why they couldnt hire me. I passed my state certifications. They can at least hire me first and give me a chance to have my license active right?

This sounds like a question you really need to be asking the employer/human resources.

You didn't misrepresent your credentials, did you? (Claim to have an active certification you don't have, like your expired NAR?) That could be a problem for you.

No, I didnt put down that I had my NAR or NAC.
Then you probably have nothing to worry about. Best wishes!
