Help please - need a nursing watch w/ a small wrist band
Hi all :)
Okay so my back story is that I got into N.S. and I'm hopefully (fingers crossed) get accepted into a CNA training program which will lead to a CNA position. Given all this I decided to buy a nurses watch made by Nurse Mates (I had a online coupon etc.).
It is a very cute watch and it has a good face that will help me get used to using a analog watch (I've used digital all my life). Big problem I discovered though is that it does not fit my wrist at all. The problem being that the holes on the band are no where close enough to the watch face, so the watch band, at its tightest, is very loose on my wrist. It basically slides up and down my wrist. I suppose I have a moderately slender wrist but its not abnormal or anything. I'm really sad cause I don't wanna have to return the watch. I'm surprised a watch clearly made for ladies is so huge even at the tightest point.
Is there anything I can do to remedy this situation? If I have to return it, do you know of any nurses watch that would fit. I really like the Nurse Mates watches but I'm gun shy about buying another one.
Thanks for your input :)
