Does anybody know of a private tutor in Los Angeles, Ca to help study for the NCLEX???

I don't think a tutor is necessary to study the NCLEX. I guess it all has to do with discipline and determination. You just need to practice practice practice and do lots and lots of questions :) .... Saunders,Kaplan and Lippincott are the major reference materials for the exam .... though I haven't tried Suzanne's plan, she highly recommends Saunders ... and here we mostly have success stories from those who have used her study guide. Why not try it out?

I too agree. Pick up the saunders q and a and the saunders comprehensive by silvestri and u will make it! I used sauders and I was sucessful the first time.. Practice practice practice and practice nclex style question is the key to success.

Good luck

The only reason I am looking for a tutor is because I have taken the NCLEX 1 x already in 2002 when I graduated for RN school and haven't done it since???? Now how about a tutor?

i myself graduated in 1995, most of my friends who passed the exam recommended 2-3 months of preparation by just using NCLEX practice questions .... and that's what i did .... sure enough i made it the first time at 75 questions. if i can make it ... so can you! .... just believe in yourself (with the help of Saunders,Lippincott,Mosby and Kaplan too) ... best of luck to you.
