Hello,
So I've been applying to jobs for about a week now and got a call for an interview at a long te care facility next week. I'm a little nervous, but excited at the same time. I haven't interviewed for a nursing position in a long time. Any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated!

Just be yourself and smile. Ask the tough questions that will help you later on. Good luck :)
Thank you! :)

I've only interviewed (and was hired) by one LTC facility. They were still finding a new DON so the regional director interviewed me. They were focused on how I would handle conflict with care staff and family. I could see this being an interview topic.
Also, I'm not sure how big the company is, but on glassdoor.com you can do a search to see if the company has been reviewed by other potential or current employees. Common interview questions by the employer may be posted. Good luck:-)
It sounds like there is something more that they didn't tell you at your interview. When a place asked specifically about handing conflict yet couldn't find a DON, they probably have issues in the management level.

Thank you! I've searched glass door, but no interviews for Lpn's. I'm nervous b/c I feel like have no chance at landing this job. I haven't worked as a nurse for 3 years, and I didn't even work that long. I'm not even sure how I got the interview. I'm just trying to refresh myself with something's and keep a positive attitude.
