Help out a future Nurse educator :)

Hello my name is Bojan Vrhovac, I am first year RN student at Douglas College.

My instructors told me to find a Nurse somewhere in the world, someone who is willing to send me a short email about what is it like to work as an RN nurse.

I am also supposed to send you through email short paper for you to fill out so that my instructors will believe that I am communicating with a nurse.

PS: did you know that today in nursing classes we learn about feminism as well.

Why is it a surprise to "learn about feminism"?

Nursing in most of the world is a traditionally female occupation. Feminisim lectures will explain why women have a hard time standing up for themselves in the labour market and negotiating for their true worth. It will also explain women's roles in trade unions.

So, to put it in a nutshell, you and other future RN's are reaping the benefits achieved by women who were willing to fight the system to get a decent wage and benefits. Statutory holidays and paid vacations are largely the result of unionism.

And no I'm not trying to say nurses are paid what they are worth but just trying to get you to see how feminism has worked to the nursing professions advantage.

Are you opposed to "learning about feminism" because of cultural or religious beliefs?
