Does anyone know what's the best state to work as a nurse? Is it true that Florida pays no good to RN's? Do you recommend Florida for a RN starter? Florida is ok? or do you recommend Ny more? considering I'm a foreigh nurse...!

Hello
Each state pays is different because of cost of living. Here in Connecticut, you make alot more money because the cost of living is more expensive. My friend is making $12 per hour in Miami as an LPN, here in Connecticut my other friend started out at $26 per hour. Although, I heard Miami is expensive to live now, but CT is alot higher. Good luck to you.

The US pay for nurses varies according to regions. The Souther USA, where Florida is located, pays much lower salaries than the North East USA and the Western USA.
It depends on what you mean by "no good". Nurses can start out in Florida making $20-22/hr. That's good money for a lot of people. But for a nurse making $30.00/hr in New York City it's no good.
