So I have been working as an RN for 3 months now. I work on a sub-acute unit at a rehabilitation facility. I am realizing that there really isn't anyone that will steer you in the right direction or have your back when you have questions. Even my direct supervisor whom I work closely with every day has given me wrong information. I think this is especially hard for me because I lack a lot of confidence in myself and feel like I need a lot of reassurance. Does anyone else feel this way? I don't feel like school prepares you for being completely thrown in and not having someone to trust to ask questions of.
Any input would be helpful :)
Thanks,
Leesha
