Hi all,
Just took my board for the second time. and it shut me off at 75 questions with at least 20 SATAs or more.. and i just found out that i PASSED! Seriously, im one of the most incompetent students in the class i graduated with and i studied my butt off after the first attempt a couple of months ago..all i did was just practicing questions and i think i practiced for anywhere from 1800 - 2000 questions before i went in for the second time i sat for the board. So, good luck to everyone who is taking the board soon and best of luck! If i could do this, sure you guys will too!

20 SATAs?!?!? Oh, my Lord!!
Congratulations to you!!
Hi there,
Well, i used Kaplan's textbook as well as its online questions, and Saunder's only for topics that im weak at i.e. GI, Renal, Endocrine. Practice, practice, practice questions...thats the KEY word to be honest with you....Kaplan has very very good questions!!!!! And make sure you do the Question set 5,6 and 7. I didnt do too well but with only average 55s, and i still pass! I studied for about 2 months before i retook it. So, stay focus and take your time in the exam and dont panic or anything, just take it as another practice!!!! and you can do it! to be honest, im not the smartest one in class and i still made it..so you will too! Best of luck!
hi there,
I used Kapan's textbook and Saunders to review topics that i was weak in i.e. GI/Renal and Endocrine. And i practiced a lot of questions, mostly from the Kaplan....i did the questions set 5,6,7 and averagely i got around 55s. So, not a great score, but most importantly, READ THE RATIONAL! I think i did almost 2000 questions before i i retake my board. It took me about 2 months of daily studying. Then, on the day of the board, DONT PANIC and take it as like another practice and you will be fine! Best of luck and im sure you can do it too, considering im not one of the most smartest one in the class.
