Halloween.....

Happy Halloween :-) Are you dressed up (in a costume) today??

Halloween costumes are a big thing at our school (rural elementary). So far today, as far as staff goes, I've seen a bookworm, Cleopatra, 5 girls from the '80s, one from the '60s, witches, money, etc....

I'm Little Red Riding Hood....complete with picnic basket and red lipstick!

We are not allowed to celebrate or dress up. The students can have a party but it is called an autumn celebration. I am unsure why this is. I am in a major city, low income charter school in CT.

I'm the Queen of Hearts! Dressed up with my daughter who is Alice! Isn't Halloween great?! The one day of the year I get to release my inner-child and wear something to work besides borning ol' scrubs!

It is a lot of fun!! I have two daughters (my oldest is almost 4 and my youngest will be one on Friday) and they are going as Little Bo Peep and her sheep! (The baby is the sheep). I'm scrambling to find my husband a wolf mask so he can wear it when we take the girls trick or treating tonight....Little Bo Peep & her sheep....Little Red Riding Hood & the wolf!!

I was Little Bo Peep and my daughter was my sheep last year! how funny! That's too cute! Enjoy your evening and stay safe!

All I remembered to do is wear Halloween socks:cat:

I have Halloween scrubs. They really aren't appropriate any other time of year, but I sure do enjoy wearing them today!
