GTCC Nursing Fall 2017

Hello everyone, I was just wondering who all is going to apply for gtcc nursing program this year. I know the deadline is next month and this is my first time applying. Does anyone know how many points right off they are looking for, based on the MAR review ? Thank you

Hi. I am applying to GTCC for Fall 2017. Would love to hear from anyone else who is applying too.

Hello. I'm applying to GTCC for Fall 2017 too. Have you heard anything about the number of applicants so far or the point range? Waiting is so stressful.

I have applied for the program and completed the TEAS testing and everything. When I finished my TEAS test, I went into the office to turn in my scores (since that was my last thing I needed to do) and she calculated my points and I had about 51 points. I asked her where I stand and she should that I shouldn't worry too much, that 50's are solid points. So, I'm not sure exactly what that means as far as point range. I have read post before where they don't reject people who have under 40-43 points, so I think as long as you have that or greater, you should be fine. Have you completed the TEAS test?

Yes, I have turned in everything. I believe I have 50 points and they told me the same thing they did you, that I should be very competitive. Still, I don't think I will be able to relax until I have an acceptance letter in my hand. Lol. I over analyze everything.

I think that we will be okay. I have been reading post on AllNurses dated back to 2012 and I have heard people who struggle to get in at about 30 points but everyone who has at least 45 or more has always gotten in. So I think we will be receiving good news!!

I think we will be okay too, but I'll still have anxiety until I get the letter. Lol. I can't help it.

Well, today is the application deadline. Now, the anxiety kicks into high gear. Lol

I applied for the ADN fall 2017 as well, but with only 42 points, she said I should be ok, but I'm still nervous bc the point scale maybe higher this go round. Praying ill get an acceptance letter.

If the points are in the range of the last several years you should be okay. But, I understand how you feel. I'm nervous too. Praying we all get acceptance letters soon.

The wait for a letter and the anticipation/disappointment everyday for the mail will kill me by the time the mail actually makes it to my house.

I feel the same.
