To Texas nurses who are unfamiliar--GroupOne is a "credit reporting agency" which accepts complaints about nurses without letting the nurses know.
I have a fax number, a form you can fill out, some other info that I can provide.
I recently found out they have a report on me. Since I've never been fired, I'm a little surprised, but probably I should not be.
I'm going to fax them my request in the a.m., I'll let you know how it turns out.

You don't have to have been fired to have a "Group One" report on file about yourself.
The only criteria is to have been employed by a DFW hospital and have merely looked at a manager or administrator the wrong way, or heaven forbid, actually stood up for yourself in a part of the country where nurses should be seen and not heard.

Please let us know hoe it turns out, as this is something that interests me very much. This is one of the reasons why I am so leery about working at DFW area hospitals. In addition, GroupOne has spread to include some nursing homes and extended care facilities in the Metroplex.

Would it be possible to post up the fax # and info? I would also be interested in a copy of the form too, perhaps email? Please let me know. Thanks so much and good luck with your inquest! :)
