Great Day!!

Hey! I just needed to share! It was truly a great day!

I am in the 6th quarter of an ADN program. The quarter is frontloaded....5 weeks of theory shoved into 5 weeks!! Then onto our preceptorship. So, today we had 3 quizzes...Leadership, Pharmacology and Med Calculation. I didn't just pass, I got 100% on all 3!!

Then, my DNS called and left a message for me to stop into work, she had something to chat with me about. She offered me a full time position once I finish school! Not on a cart 40 hrs a week (I work LTC)...a truly unique and exciting opportunity!

I just needed to share! Thanks for listening!! :w00t:

Thank you..Thank you!! I can't go too much into the position, however it will begin with additional respiratory training and doing lung assessments faxing the MD for orders etc, I know doesn't sound too exciting or sexy but the next phase gets good! I will implement skills I never thought I would in LTC. Lots of training....a whole new facet to our SNF!!
