Congratulations. Sounds like your really excited. There are all kinds of web sites for uniforms. Just be careful, don't put in nurses in white. You never know what will come up. HA. I graduated in 1980. We wore white , with caps of course. This was back in the day that we still had "hippies" in our class. (Gosh I hope you know what they are-or I'll really feel old) any way, one of the guys who was quite radical was upset that the females got caps and the guys got nothing. So he made them put a cap on him. You should have heard the gasps in the audiance. It was so funny.

Well, Graduation time is almost here..and we're allowed to wear whichever 'professional whites' we choose to pinning. I'd like to find a REALLY cute white dress or super cute white top...maybe with embroidery, eyelet or lace??? as long as it has a collar to pin . Anyone have any suggestions for websites where I can find something???!!!!
Peaches has a pretty wide assortment of dresses like you're describing. Find them online, or through lots of different catalogues. I think I'd just google "nurse white graduation dress" and you'll find anything you could possibly want. This is what I did and it was easy to find something :)
Ultimately, I opted out of the dress for something I could wear to work in the future. I chose a Cherokee top with thread embroidery covering the entire front, very pretty. White pants from Jasco had NO SHOW THROUGH :)
Oh, and you don't need an actual collar: most of us actually DIDN'T have collars, but it's not like you can't pin the pin on the shirt itself near the neckline. Looked just fine :)

hi
I wore a white Dickies top at my graduation, it was a mock wrap similar to this one, http://www.lifeuniform.com/cgi-bin/nlnetupd.bat?request_id=CMKTSTY&stylea=13902-&styleb=13902-ZZZ&desc=Contrast%20Trim%20top&img=13902.jpg&lvl1=1000&lvl2=2030&lvl3=13902&lvl4=&lvl5=&emb=EMB&sty_price=24.99&LOC_NO=001&reqr_type=O&reqr_id=NEW%20CUSTOMER&AUTH_ID=&co_id=LU/&co_id=LU/
in all white, and tied in the back.
It was very cute and I can still wear it to work in (if I'm brave enough to wear white :)
good luck, and congratualations!

We had our pinning on the 13th and also wore the whites. I got my dress from Dickies and I thought it was pretty cute. It was simple; button down with a collar and it tied in the back. It was also not too expensive, which was good for me since I won't be wearing it again. I noticed lots of different options in dresses, so I am sure you will be able to find something that you like. Good luck and enjoy graduation! I know I sure did!
