GPC Fall 08?

I applied for the Fall 2008 General Track at GPC, and I was wondering if anyone has gotten their letters yet? My classmates and I went to talk to someone at advisement and they said they will be mailed out by the end of this month. I'm so anxious!

The same here. I called earlier this month and they said they will send the letters out by the end of the month. What do you think about all the negative reviews? What campus will you attend?

You know what, I'm taking it all with a grain of salt. I have a couple of friends in the program, and they say it's hard, but not impossible. All of them are making B's and really enjoying it. It's really my only option in terms of location and cost, so I'm going to hope for the best! I will go to the Lawrenceville location if I get in! What are your gpa's/net score?

My comprehensive NET score was 86, reading was like a 79 or something. My science GPA so far is a 3.0 and I'm taking micro right now. My non-science GPA is 4.0 (average together right now is a 3.6). I also plan on going to Lawrenceville if I get the letter.

Sounds like you have a great shot! My Net was 82 I think, with a 3.0 overall GPA and a 3.16 for Science... I really don't know if it's going to be good enough :(

Sounds like you have a pretty good shot also. I don't know how much longer I can wait for the letter. Have you finished all of you re-reqs? Hope to see you in nursing school.

Thanks! I'm hoping and praying SO hard! I sit by the mailbox every day just waiting ;) Yep, I'm done with all my pre-reqs, although I kinda miss it! I'm taking the LINK class this semester, so that's fun :) Let me know when you get your letter!

What is the LINK class? I just started GPC this spring. I am learning support math 98 so it prohibits me from taking many of the courses. I have taken english, pols, pys, phed, research, communications. i need to take my sciences but cant I guess until i get in college algebra. I was wondering what I can take this summer that would relate to my nursing program.

any ideas?

That class will help you with study tips for your sciences, test preperation, help with the NET, and basically getting you acquainted with what resources are out their for you.

Good Luck

Oh really? I am going to look at the class schedule right now to see if its available this summer. is it an online course?

what is it listed up under?

It's a NURS course if you search online. There is only 1 instuctor, so It's only offered at each campus at 1 time. But VERY worth it! Great class and the instructor is AWESOME!

Well, let's just say that I'm very annoyed. I was told TWICE today that the letters were mailed out last friday from clarkston. And yet, still no mail at my house. Anyone else get anything? I'm so anxious I could burst!

I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown...but I got my letter today:yeah::bowingpur
