Did u guys take an assessment test first then went by the schedule they provided or did u just read it cover to cover? Need all the suggestions trying to pass for the 4th time...

Are you talking about the assessment test on Saunders CD? If yes then yes i took the assessment test too..but I am reading Saunders cover to cover. Saunder is the only review book that i am using..I finish one system and then do questions from Saunders cd and Nclex 4000..how many questions you do everyday and when are you testing?

nclex rn? or nclex pn?

Are you doing all the questions from Saunders and NCLEX 4000 on particular content??

For example:Cardiovascular system:223 questions on NCLEX 4000,149 on Saunders. If you are then how you manage to do all the questions.I am following the Saunders schedule and finding it hard to finish all the questions on particular content area.I am doing 300 questions a day.

I took the assessment test first and then followed the Saunders schedule. As Saunders pointed out the same weakest portion as my official result.

I do finish nclex 4000 questions eventhough it takes me hours i don't do all questions in one setting so yeah...& I don't do all saunder cd questions(I believe they are not nclex level questions but they do help to brush up your content ) but i try to do atleast 100 to 150 on study mode that again not in single setting ..

PN 5th edition Im using and yes the assessment test on the CD..with the PN 5th edition u get questions offline.

I went straight to the cd focusing on the content category. If the subject is unclear I referred to the book or used google and youtube. Before leaving the particular system, I skimmed the pages. It was easier for me to answer the other resources after I finished Saunders.

HOW LONG IS THE schedule for? do they do it all in a month times or they stretch it out over a period of time.

just brought the 5th ed saunders pn i plan on reading this book from fron to back doing all the question and knowing the material after im done i will get exam cram third edition they have alot of fill in the blanks so i will know if im still weak in an area also i will due kaplan qbank as this being my fourth time taking this test i will study harder and give it a 10000 percent i heard the pn is harder than the rn but one i get over this hump theres no stopping me hope this helped you god bless:)

There's NO WAY I could read that whole book...I wouldn't remember anything. I took the assessment on the CD and then read the chapters on my 3 lowest-scoring topics.

I took NCLEX RN but I mostly used Saunders Q& A to prepare in addition to the Saunders Comprehensive Review book. However, I did not read the book cover to cover neither did I do an assessment test. I used Saunders all through nursing school so I only went over content that I felt iffy about. That book was my bible all through school. Its so beaten up, dog eared, food stained now. LOL! But I still plan to pass it on to someone else. It has served me well.

I used Saunders Q& A mostly. I don't know if they have one for PN, but I thought the one for RN was excellent.
