Congrats!!! I have been watching your speeding zip through the EC process and I am impressed. Good for you!! I wish you the best....luck has nothing to do with it!!
I'm creeping behind you (at a slightly slower pace) I'm getting ready to take NC7 then I have A&P and Micro before have my 21 credits.....a few questions.....
1. After you qualified (passed nc7 and 21 credits) how long did it take for you to get an application?
2. What parts of the application process (putting it together) was problematic? (ie. physical/cpr/background)
3. After you sent off the application how long was it until you got a date? What was your original date? Did you specify where you wanted a cancellation from?
4. What are you doing to study?
I've been following your progress because you've been a few steps ahead of me and have really given me a good feel of what's next....I appreciate any words of wisdom.
thanks again and kick some CPNE butt
thanks for the words of encouragement!!! i called the school when i registered for nc7 and requested the cpne guide which has the application in it. had my physical done within a week and did the "my background check" online ,took about three days for results, and sent my app asap. they recieved it january 21. I have since then called the school once a week to check the status of my app. This past thursday they gave me a date for end of june and I requested to be put on the cancellation list for new york, they asked me if april 27- 29 was too soon and i jumped on it. to study i have been using the cpne guide, lisa arends cd, and i will be going to lynne;s workshop this week, not to mention the riches that can be found in this forum to help me reach my goal!! Good luck to you in your studies. if you like when i am done with my skills bag you are welcome to it!! Thanks to all on this site!!

Congratulations to both of you and Good Luck. I graduated from Excelsior (then Regent's) in 1999, so I can't remember everything and I know a few things have changed but I can give you an idea of how things went for me if you're interested. The best advice I can give you is study, study, study. It really wasn't bad. Take deep breaths and remain calm. I passed the first time and I could have never continued my education when I did without Regent's. Keep up the great work!!!!

Congrats, Chris! That worked out really fast. I had a similar experience with getting a quick cancellation date (but from Amarillo). Good luck to you!
