Right now they are all horribly backlogged. It took me almost 3 weeks to get my ATT. If you are really concerned give them a call. I think NY uses PCS (professional credentialing services) If not then call your state BoN for an update. Good luck :)

I'd you reapply to NYBoN? Or did you just register with Pearson. Pearson can only issue ATT if authorized by NYBoN. NY BoN can't authorize if you don't apply

Yes you need to reapply with BoN. Pearson is only registration and scheduling of exam. Usually the form and process description is sent from the BoN with the official results notification. There is also a fee to be paid to NYBoN to retake the exam in addition to the Pearson Vue fee

@JustBeachyNurse....are you applying NYBON? I don't think we need to reapply NY BON everytime if we fail,I called pearson and they said I don;t need to call or reapply BON because I still got validity with NY BON,they just ask me to wait 4 to 6 weeks for ATT,I failed twice and didn't apply BON just paid fee with pearson for ATT,I used to get ATT within week,I will wait one more week

Thank you for your reply

No I passed my NCLEX first try quite a few years ago. According to NYBoN regulations you must reapply and pay a reapplication fee for a new ATT. Not all states require a fee to retest.

that means we need to reapply each time if we failed right? oh my god,it will take long time...my anxiety level going up

Yes. Generally the repeat ATT is quicker but will never come if you don't reapply to BoN seeking authorization to retest.
