Going back to school @ 26

Hi- I am interested in perusing a 2nd bachelors degree in nursing. I'm hesitant/scared and unsure of the process. I currently work full-time for a company but I am not happy. I've always thought about nursing but never did anything about it. Does anyone have any tips/advice? I think my biggest concern is that I am too late.

I'm so glad I decided to start my nursing prereqs at age 34. I had someone to look up to though, my mom, who received her RN license this past May at age 63!

Wow that ackward moment when someone makes 26 seem like 86

I will be 26 in May and I'm starting my pre reqs at a community college. You're not too late to pursue nursing. I'm actually trying to get my mom who is 49 to do it with me  I'm finally at a place in my life that I can go back to school and it it more seriously than when i started college at 18 and having a child at 21. My son will be in kindergarten this fall so I will have a little bit of time to focus on my studies while he is in school. Any who it takes hard work and dedication to get into any program so as long as your focused you will be fine.

I'm 30 and just signed up to do a CNA program over the summer. If I decide to pursue nursing I won't even start until Jan. 2017 at 31. My aunt just got her RN a year or so ago and she's 46 I think? One of my doctor friends just started his 4 year residency and he's 35. You're good. ;)

I got my bachelors in business admin at 25. Started my LVN program at 28. And now at 30 starting my LVN-RN bridge. Never too late to start anything! You'd be surprise to find out there are a few people that are older than you. Don't be discouraged!
