Getting into Hinds CC Spring 08'

Just wondering if anyone has applied for the ADN program at Hinds for the Spring 08'?

They said letters won't go out until mid Nov.!! Errrr, I can't stand the waiting period!!!

Also, I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight...I made a 22 on my ACT with a 29 in reading and 18 in math. My AP I and II grades were both A's. Sociology was a B... also, I have some transfer credits from when I used to be in College that are all A's and B's....Does anyone think that this is competitive enough?

When I got in for Spring 2007, I received my letter on November 17th. I think your chances are pretty good. I made a 20 on the ACT, had A's in A&P I and II and Sociology and didn't have any problems getting in. Good luck, it's going to be rough, but you can do it!

Thanks for the reply!! That does calm my mind a bit.....I just hate that I have a month and 1/2 wait..... oh well!!

Are you at the Allied Health Center?

Yeah, I'm in second semester at NAHC. I know it's easier said than done, but don't worry too much about it. I am sure you will be accepted!

I'm sure that you have a good chance of getting into the Nursing program this spring. You should receive a lot of points because of your ACT score. If you have a degree already you will receive points for that also. Good luck.

Well, I just got my acceptance letter for Spring 08'!!! Soooo excited and anxious to start!!!!

So 2008rn2be how is everything at NAHC? I plan to be at Hinds in the Fall 2008. I have heard that it is very hard. I am very nervous about school. I want to pass and do my best, but I have heard that the smartest students don't pass at times. That is very scary. Good luck to you. Congradulations you are about to graduate.:mortarboard:
