German Nurse needs HELP!!!

:welcome: Hi my Name is Kat, I'm a nurse in Germany.

My husband and I are moveing to the US soon.

Does anybody know something about the paperwork, tests.... I have to do to get my degree recognized? Does somebody kowe something aout reeiprocity in the US.?

you need to start here, there is no reprocity you have to take the NCLEX. Follow what is required by the state BON for foriegn trained nurses https://allnurses.com/forums/f75/primer-all-wish-work-us-160143.html

You will definitely need to write the NCLEX exam, the state that you are going to will be a factor as to what else needs to be written.

Then depending on the visa that you will be on, that will determine if you need to write the English exams, if you are the one that will be applying for a green card. With the information that you have posted, it is hard to be specific as to what you will need.
