Georgetown NP program

Published

Does anyone know how many are selected for Georgetowns FNP program per cohort? Has anyone applied for May 2014 and been accepted yet?

I applied and was told I would hear back probably last week of Feb.

Nurse meme, I asked the same question at one of GU's webiners. They told me there is no limit. They will admit everyone who is qualified. I did finally get in. We are approximately 130 in our cohort. Since we just started, we (FNP track) are mixed with those doing nurse education and women's health. GU's acceptance rate is around 15%. So the estimation is that they picked the 130 students out of 900 applications. But do not be discouraged if you wish to apply.

Wow. I must have no chance. :-(

MyNameRN, don't lose hope. U still have a chance unless you hear otherwise. When did you submit your app?

2015, how long did it take for you to get a decision? Are you in the January cohort ?

I applied Jan 24 but one of transcripts took forever to get there. So my application went in for review Feb 6. I won't hear back for at least another week or longer. Good luck to you!

That's around the same time for me but I was waiting on a letter of recommendation. Good luck to you as well!

It took exactly two weeks (years:)) to hear from them. I wish all of you the best of luck.
