We have a Serenity True.

Ok, I had to update this with some new names I've heard recently.

Awnesti- can you figure out how this one is pronounced? I'll tell you in the next post. ;>)

Aayionna- pronounced "E-on-a", the Aay is silent. LOL!

Well, of course. Don't you remember learning in elementary school that "Aay" is always silent when it precedes a vowel? :coollook:

I've nursed a Jade Green

and a little lady called Chitikma (Moms favourite food was Chicken Tikka Masala):icon_roll

I don't know if this is a southern thing but i've heard alot of this going around...not just in our hospital:

- (Yep, just a symbol and pronounced dash)

j-a (jaydasha)

This is my first post here!

My favorite name of all time is Goddiss BeyonUnique. I kid you not, I took care of this baby!

Welcome, and thanks for sharing. That's hilarious, I think. :lol2:

I recently took care of a Promise (mom was Special). Seriously?!

I am not a nurse yet but have come across some interesting names!

I know a little girl named Lark, and a friend of mine who was visiting her sister met the neigbors kids named Swan(little boy) and Dove(little girl). I thought Lark was pretty cute, but Swan for a boy??

I also worked with a girl named Mystery! We all had little memo boxes at the job I was at and about a week before she was sceduled they labeled her box. I saw it and asked when did we get a mystery box?! I thought they were trying to pull one over on me when they said it was the new hire, oh!

We've had "The Don of Texas", that is his "first name".

Several names that were prefixed by "Sir"

Invitro twin boys named "Cash" and "Carry"

My mom worked with a NURSE who had twins (a boy & a girl) and was so happy when she found out the "hospital already named her babies"... pronounced Molly & Famolly... spelled Male & Female.

I also do have a cop friend who arrested a Shi-thade... just put the "e" before the "a" for the spelling it was...

I had a friend tell me the other day that her new niece's name is Urieluriana. She wasn't sure if there was a hyphon or apostrophe in there. Poor baby! (friend agreed this is a terrible name to give a sweet little girl)
