FSW Spring 2018

It's a bit early, I know. I just wanted to start a thread for all of those looking down the road planning to apply to FSW this fall for the spring 2018 program start..

I'm planning on applying to the Charlotte campus for the Evening/Weekend (ANEW) schedule format.

What campus are you planning on applying to?

What classes are you trying to finish up before applying in Sept/Oct?

What program schedule format will you be choosing (Daytime or evening/weekend)?

Did you take the TEAS VI exam and how did you do?

I look forward to the discussion over the next few months!!

The packet says the health form is on castlebranch.com I was wondering if anyone knew where it was..

When you get the Compliance Tracker on CastleBranch, you'll see a list of to-dos for the clinicals. One of the tabs will be "Physical Examination" and there's a download link in there that has the actual 2-page form.

Thank you so much!!

So I was just at the Hamilton's in Port Charlotte and the lady said that there was 10 people in there from our class ordering uniforms today and none of them ordered the lab coat..

I forgot to add that I decided to order one, just to be safe.

I just completed the orientation online, and it stated that the lab coat is required and should be embroidered like the scrubs and polo.

Just curious how you were able to take the orientation. Don't we need to be enrolled in the nursing courses before we can access it? I tried typing in the URL and I couldn't get anything to show..I saw that the Collier students have begun to register for classes but you are in the Lee traditional, right?

Weiny, I was able to complete the orientation by self enrolling in the canvas course here: FSW Login

Is this the link you had an issue accessing?

I realize it didn't show the link but it was in the acceptance packet under "orientation"

Yes! It worked for me to click on it. Thank you!

Ya I typed it out as it was written in the acceptance packet under orientation but for some reason it was giving me a "not found" error.

Huh. Now you have something to keep you busy for the next couple of hours. :)
