FSW Fall 2015

Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.

Who is joining me next fall in nursing?

I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. :arghh: lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.

I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.

    Awesome! The only thing in bold is that it says my application is being considered for the ASN program at the Lee Campus in the Entry-Level Nursing Program. It doesn't specify days or nights or full-time? I applied for FT. I assume formal letters are sent out after you complete their screen process?

    Congrats. Mine said part-time evening entry level nursing program so my guess its full time.

    Hey. I just wanted to let you know and I hope you don't get upset but I can't accept your friend request. As a respect for my husband, I do not accept friend request of any guys at all unless they really really close friends to family or family in general. I hope this ok, I hope it doesn't ever affect our friendship as friends in our program. I'm sorry. I hope you don't think I am a weirdo and hope you understand.

    Mine also only said Lee Campus...I called and she said it means the FT day program at Lee :)

    Oh- awesome! That's exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks for the clarification! Does anyone know how long the process is to receive the formal acceptance letter? I wonder how many students are accepted into the program at Lee.

    There were 48 applicants chosen for the lee day full time program and 48 applicants that were chosen for the Lee night part time program @ Lee Campus :)

    We should be recieving formal letter after everyone background clears. We also have to wait just in case there was some background checks not cleared or just didnt take seat for the new alternative people to pass background check. Thats what I was told. But for now, its a safe bet we are in until you pass background check.

    I woke up this morning so relaxed and happy. It doesn't seem real that I got in. I am still in shock, because I was sure I didn't get in or that I was going to recieve 2nd or 3rd choice.

    Background check was completed yesterday, drug test was done this morning and fingerprints are scheduled for tomorrow after work! :) Almost done! :)
