FSW Fall 2015

Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.

Who is joining me next fall in nursing?

I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. :arghh: lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.

I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.

    Not sure but I am sure if there is it will cost you an arm and leg. Because other schools besides fgcu and fsw have outrageous tuition.

    At least I'll be busy this weekend...1kid graduating middle school tomorrow (awards ceremony) and his 8th grade dance tomorrow night. And my little one is graduating pre-k on Saturday! Proud mama

    I'm in the same boat. If I don't get in this semester I'm going to probably start working on a biology degree at fgcu. I will apply again next year, but I can't put my life on hold. This summer was the first semester where I haven't gone to school and I'm not liking it. I love to be busy, and more importantly I love to learn.

    FSW, FGCU, and Nova are the only accredited nursing schools around here. I was going to go to Nova for their BSN program, but that's well over $50,000 per year. I already have a degree from a private university. I can't afford another one. FSW is the cheapest one around.

    Even if they were to accept more students or everyone that wanted in, there wouldn't be enough jobs. Nursing is already over saturated.
