Just a heads up! I thought I would be smooth and wear my teal nursing polo for my Bucs card picture and the back drop was nearly the same color so it came out white and looks like I have a floating head!

That's great! Thank you! I start at Charlotte in a couple weeks. I was wondering what people normally wear to class. Also, how strict are they on shoes? If the shoes are white and have a tiny silver logo, is that a no go? Do we have to buy a lab kit, or will they provide us the stuff (like cath kits and such). Did you hear anything about long socks (someone on here was talking about long socks for labs or something)? Do we have any choice for our clinicals? When we do clinicals, is there any place to lock up our stuff? What do you think the first semester essentials to buy are? Can you buy any lab jacket as long as it's 3/4 length or full length with logo? Is there something you wish someone would've told you before you started? Do they allow you to record lectures? Its on canvas but I also got an alert in my email. Are you enrolled in part time colloquium? Thats where the alert came from. If you arent then email B. Ward and she will give you access to it.

No I never enrolled in the colloquim I guess I must of forgot whoops lol

So, I just did it but it says charlotte campus uh what the hell? haha

Send an email through that class to Barbara Ward. She will send you the correct class to enroll in.

One of my required books is "Fundamentals Success" 3rd edition. They now have a 4th edition out.

Am I the only one who thought the online orientation was, uhm.. terrible? I didn't find it very informative at all. Also, there were just a bunch of links that have been already available to us.

Finally, Im 100% done!

Picked up my uniforms and tops/khakis...Found nursing shoes for $35

Got my BLS card in the mail last week

Just waiting for an ID card for hospitals and simulations
