Frontier Class #147

Anyone apply for Class 147? I applied late and was wondering if anyone had been accepted?

Medic,

Do you mean Class 146? I see 146 and 148 (both have different bound dates), etc on their site on admissions calendar, but not 147 (if there was maybe it was already taken off their site?). I applied for 146 and am waiting (they won't let you know if you're admitted until 6-8 weeks before the frontier bound date, so for at least 146 it probably won't be until mid to late December for notifications).

Nevermind, disregard my post, I forgot they have a bridge ADN-MSN program! Either way the deadline looks like Nov 13, therefore I doubt anyone has heard back as it's the 6-8 weeks before bound like I mentioned above. Good luck though!

I've applied! Fingers crossed. I think it will be a while before we hear back.

Hi! I applied for class 147 too! I am so nervous! What is everyone's background & experience?

I graduated in 2011 and have been on med surg for the last 4 years. I live in Massachusetts, married, 2.5 year old and currently pregnant. How about you guys?

Wow! That's awesome you'll be having a baby during graduate school. I had my baby during nursing school and it was difficult but worth it!

Good luck!! I saw they extended the deadline to November 25--hoping that's a good sign

Where does it say they extended the deadline? I remember reading another thread where the posters deadline was extended. I'm glad they did - my application was in on exactly 11/13 - talk about cutting it close.

Yeah, I know it won't be easy but there will never be a perfect time to do it. I'm actually thinking the 2.5 year old will be more problematic than the newborn when it comes to studying/reading.

Where are you from?

Oh I see it on the admissions calendar. Might be a good sign!!! I'm very excited and nervous about this whole thing.

If you go to the Frontier website the deadline for class 147 now says November 25. How funny, I turned mine in exactly on the 13th too! I had to pay a lot to overnight it so I just laughed when I saw the new deadline-- go figure.

Did you get an email saying all your materials were in?

I'm from Colorado! How about you? Are you applying to NP or CNM?

I also had to pay a lot of money to overnight mine!!

I believe they have everything now. We had some confusion about the accreditation of my school. Apparently, when admissions from Frontier called them, someone in the registrar told them we weren't accredited during the time frame I attended. I nearly had a panic attack but was able to straighten it out.

CNM. You?

I'm researching the price of plain tickets now. I'll have to drive from Massachussetts a few hours into New York state and fly down from there, otherwise tickets are around $600.

Yikes-that's expensive! I haven't even looked at plane tickets yet, I don't want to get my hopes up in case I don't get in :nailbiting:. Did you get the confirmation email?
