Frontier Bound 64

Hi there! I got accepted into Frontier Bound class 64 and am wondering if there is anyone out there who would like to carpool/share expenses on a rental car. According to Frontier's website, the airport is about 3 hours away from the school.

Congratulations!

I finally decided to do it and hope to have my application sent by the end of the week. I am really excited! Maybe we will see each other. Wish you the best.

HI Heritage. Good luck on your application.

I interviewed for a L&D position yesterday. I thought it went well. I should know by Wednesday if I am hired.

Congrats!! Are you doing the bridge program? I also have applied for class 64, for the ADN-MSN bridge program. Still waiting on a response. It's been over 6 weeks since I sent in all of my paperwork. How long was it until you heard from them??

Hi RNlabornurse4u,

I can't find the reply button on my private email, so here is my experience.

I submitted my application for the summer term (June) by early - mid April. I then called to make an appointment for the phone interview which was about 3 weeks from the time I submitted my application. During the phone interview they said I should hear back in about two weeks. After 4 weeks I called the school and found out that they didn't accepted my faxed transcripts from my undergrad school. So, I overnighted them to Frontier. Another 2-3 weeks passed and I thought I didn't get accepted.

I finally got my acceptance email in the first week of June. Frontier Bound was mid June, I was not able to pick up and leave that quickly so I asked if I could defer until another term...At the time I was trying to play safe and go the FNP route, they said they were full for FNP programs this fall but I could defer until December if I pay the $200 deferement fee. I paid the fee and then asked if I could switch to the CNM program since that is what I really want to do. They said yes!!!! Now I am a happy camper!

I don't know much about the bridge program.....Good luck and I hope to see you there in December.

:yeah:

I was just contacted by them to schedule my phone interview -- YEAH!!! (Is it too early to celebrate??)

Hi All! I was originally accepted to the CNEP Class 61, but had to defer (my daughter was having health issues). When is Frontier Bound scheduled for Class 64? I can't seem to find the info on their website....

Frontier Bound class 64 is Dec 1st through Dec 4th.

hey! i just found out that im in for 64! Im so excited! I would consider carpooling from the airport- but I think I read somewhere that there is a shuttle we can pay for- Im going to look into this more. Do we have to arrive the 30th? See you there!

I would like to ride the shuttle bus as well. OMG! I am so excited!:yeah:

Yes, there is a van...the cost is $75 (ROUNDTRIP). It is a fun way to get a jumpstart on meeting your class. I would definitely recommend it over renting a car. There is limited parking at the school. Congratualtions! I love the school and hope you all do too!

I would love to talk with all of you about Frontier. I am in the process of applying and would love to be able to e-mail each other.
