I finish up a statistics course next week. Then the app goes in the mail. CNEP 118.

Exciting. I'm extremely nervous. I do nt have a squeaky clean transcript. But my last degree earned cumulative gpa is a 3.7. But I made several bad decision in my young days. I graduated with my rn-bsn last Friday, so I'm waiting on my final transcript before I send my packet. Also second guessing my essays :/ anxiety is getting the best of me. I suppose I have a good 2 months to wait so I should just wait it out and calm down. Good luck to you!

i've pretty much got everything to send in except for my references. still waiting on them to send them to me. im hoping to make it by the may 20th deadline. if i don't have them by then i will just apply for the next class. ive been an L&D nurse for 3 years and im ready to continue my education now :) nervous to apply!

Class 116 was extended to may 29, and class 118 was extended until the end of June. That should help.

Oh wait, that was just for cnep.

well i just got an email saying i dont meet the 3.0 gpa requirement. which is a total blatant lie. i just graduated with my rn-bsn with a 3.68.

my rn regree was a 2.8. but their website blatantly stated.."most recent degree earned, cumulative gpa"..

i am crushed to say the least. i will be contacting other school officials before i give up, but it doesnt look hopeful.

How frustrating!! Definitely get in touch w the top administration people/Heads of midwifery dept. I had some difficulty getting a clear answer on some things from admissions but got clarification from people at the top. You should def take this higher up. You're absolutely right that according to their admissions page it should not be a issue. Good luck and let us know how it goes...
