Ado those can be difficult conversations to have, hopefully with time you can come to an agreement with the boys

Hi Dianah

Work was good, thankfully there was nothing to do for the coworker who was off. Mood wasn't great, and not helped by the neighbor's new dog who apparently has separation anxiety and barked and whined for several hours in the morning. Thankfully it stopped by noon. Afternoon was quiet, had time to work on a CEU and get some non work things done. After work was quiet, exercised and relaxed. Over lunch went to get and send a birthday card for my BIL, almost forgot his birthday is this Sunday

Today hopefully will also be quiet at work, although I will have to work on the side project again as well as cover for the coworker who is off. Nothing planned for after work apart from exercise. Mood is better, not good but neutral which is OK

Cooler today, in the low 50s

Good morning. It looks to be up to 70 today, and sunny. Yesterday turned out quite nice. My nose and eyes are not finding the weather too enjoyable, but this shall pass. The cars are coated in yellow pollen. I spent some time in my garden yesterday. Today I am going to sis's house to learn to make stepping stones. She used to make stained glass items, so we will use her scraps of glass to decorate.

Annie, I hear ya about the dilemma with your twins. Our youngest is living with us. He has left, come back, left, and returned. He has steady employment but is always saving for a newer, more reliable car, and or a deposit for an apartment. But he spends most of his off time gaming. He does help around the house, but I do wish he would kick in more financially.

Dh grilled salmon and fresh asparagus last night. Yummy ! I have a marinade/sauce mix for huli huli chicken that I am going to make tonight and some grilled pineapple.

Thank you to those who commiserate. After a good talk with Twin B last night on the way home from band practice, I'm feeling a little better. Our insurance company notified Hubs yesterday that they will not cover us after June 1 unless we drop Twin A. So I guess that forces some issues without us having to be the bad guys.

Grilled pineapple - yum. Twin B is planning to cook some mahi mahi tonight and grilled pineapple sounds like a perfect side.

Between being out late (for me) last night for band practice, and having volunteered for the med/surg floor tomorrow, and having a dress rehearsal for the band Sunday evening, I think I will opt out of attending book club tonight, although I miss it. I was already joking (sort of) that book club didn't fit in the budget.

G'day.

I have a coworker who's been out of school a couple of years living with her parents and they asked her to start paying rent, so she moved out on her own. That was the kick into adulthood she needed.

I do think there comes a time when adult children need to contribute. Not everyone makes a good salary and many are saddled with student loan debt and rents are high but they also should put a little into their own expenses. I can't talk as I lived with my parents for two years of nursing school. But I paid my own car payment and insurance and worked full time-ish. They actually invited me to ease my struggles. I left straight away taking a job out of town when I graduated.

My renovations are complete and I'm quite happy with the new look. It's up on my social media for people that are friends. If we're not friends? Why not?

Anyway, I've been in a negative space myself. I'm off a week and hope to regroup. I'm going to NC to see my parents and sister on Monday for a few days. I'll post here from my phone, but won't participate in the political forums as I hate posting from my phone.

Have a good evening.
